Júlia Masnicová is a Slovak accordionist, singer, and composer whose performances blend artistic sensitivity with expressive musicianship. Combining the rich sound of the accordion with her expressive voice, she creates an intimate musical experience inspired by tango, Balkan traditions, klezmer, Romani music, Mexican bolero, chanson, jazz, and timeless evergreens. Every piece in her repertoire is shaped by her own original arrangements, giving familiar melodies a distinctive and deeply personal character.
She studied accordion at the Conservatory in Žilina, Slovakia, before graduating with distinction from the Academy of Music in Kraków, Poland. A laureate of several international accordion competitions, she has performed at festivals, concert halls, television productions, and competitions across Europe.
In 2022, Júlia reached the semifinals of Got Talent Poland and Got Talent Slovakia & Czech Republic, introducing her unique artistry to a wider audience. Whether performing her own compositions or reimagining beloved classics, she brings authenticity, emotion, and a deep connection with her listeners to every stage.
