Annual Dick and Judy Contino Accordion Scholarship Eligibility

The Cotati Accordion Festival is pleased to announce that a special $1,200 scholarship will be awarded during the festival. Here’s the criteria to see how students qualify and how to become eligible to receive this award.

The Cotati Accordion Student Scholarship Coordinator works with the Assistant Coordinator to review and approve eligible applicants before the competition. The final decision to award the scholarship derives from stipulated eligibility, appropriate selections, and the highest score using a point system as explained in the adjudication form. An overall superior achievement must be evident in the final decision before the scholarship can be awarded.

1. Accuracy & Technique (30%)

2. Rhythm & Timing (30%)

3. Overall musicianship (30%)

4. Appearance (10%)

Basic eligibility requirements to qualify for the Contino Scholarship:
