Stas Venglevski’s musical journey is a testament to his exceptional talents and unwavering dedication. Hailing from the Republic of Moldova, a part of the former Soviet Union, Stas has carried the rich musical traditions of his homeland to global audiences. As a testament to his skill, he has been honored as a two-time first prize winner of Bayan competitions in the Republic of Moldova. Stas honed his craft at the prestigious Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, where he studied under the guidance of the renowned Russian Bayanist, Friedrich Lips, and earned his Master’s Degree in Music. Throughout his career, he has embarked on extensive solo tours, captivating audiences in the former Soviet Union, Canada, Europe, and the United States. Notably, he has graced the stage in numerous performances alongside esteemed artists such as Doc Severinsen, Steve Allen, and Garrison Keillor on the Prairie Home Companion Show. His artistry has also intertwined with the symphonic realm, as evidenced by his collaborations with the Chicago, Tacoma, Milwaukee, Racine, Jefferson, Nuremberg (Germany), Pueblo, Sheboygan, and Seattle Symphony Orchestras. Stas’s commitment to fostering musical appreciation and education is evident in his active participation in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Arts in Community Education Program (ACE).
