JOSE CUELLAR, PH.D., critically-acclaimed Chicano multiinstrumentalist and educator, brings his Hohner Club accordion-powered Tex-Mex style conjunto Dr. Loco & sus Tiburones Del Norte (his Sharks of the North) to Cotati for their debut
performance, closing Sunday’s festivities with a jalapeño-hot set of borderland boleros, cumbias, chachas, mambos,
merengues, and polkas.
The super-versatile group features: Brian Andres on drums, Carlos Caro on percussion, Tomas Montoya on guitar, and Manuel Polanco on basa.
