Arizona Button Accordion Band

The Arizona Button Accordion Band is a group of twelve musicians playing a variety of music consisting of polkas, waltzes, schottisches, and American songs. Upon request, four members of the group will join their husbands and put on an exhibition of various dance styles for the audience.
The outfits they wear are colorful and fit the occasion for which they are performing. The Arizona Button Accordion Band has been performing together for nine years. They have entertained at the Tempe Arts & Crafts Fair, Glendale Community College, International School of Management, Honeywell, Moose Lodge Of Phoenix, various Retirement Communities, many International Food Festivals, and Octoberfests. They have performed for the Polka Club of Arizona’s Polka dances at Carriage Manor. The Arizona Button Accordion Band has traveled to the states of California, Colorado, and Utah to perform at National Button Accordion Festivals.
The members of the Arizona Button Accordion Band include the following: Bill Regina and his wife Zina, from Phoenix; Maria Marti, whose husband Marty is one of the dancers, hails from Glendale; Helen Frost and her husband Frosty, also a dancer, reside in Tempe; Dorothy Noeding and her husband Chuck, a dancer, make their home in Cave Creek; Linda Danik and her dancing husband Joe, make their home in Phoenix; Alice Casey and her husband George, who plays bass guitar, reside at Camp Verde. Jennie Adams and her brother Jim Winning, who is our drummer, hail from Glendale. We have two members who are our winter visitors, Les, and Annabelle Morris and they make their home in Buda, Illinois. In the winter they reside in Mesa.
