On Thursday, November 6th we had the privilege of donating $5,000.00 to three nonprofits, stressing the music programs in the local schools. $5,000.00 each went to the Cotati/Rohnert Park Nursery School Co-op, the Thomas Page Academy and the Cotati/Rohnert Park Education Foundation.
On Friday, November 7th we went to Rancho Cotate High School and donated $5,000.00 to the Rancho Cotate High School Music Boosters. As a bonus to the Cotati Accordion Festival, the full band played two very moving tunes for us as a show of appreciation for the financial help.
However, our commitment to the community goes year round as we are donating $500.00 to the Cotati based NorCal Oaks Baseball League for kids 11 to 14. You will be able to see our banner on the outfield fence all spring and summer.
Directly across from the Cotati City Hall is the Veronda Faletti Ranch which the city sponsors as an historical site. We are making a contribution,in 2026, adding to its preservation.
The Cotati Accordion Festival also makes in kind donations to groups such as the Cotati Historical Society, the Sonoma County Farm Bureau, the Cotati/Rohnert Park Education Foundation Sharing of the Green, the CMSA Bocce Ball Tournament, the Boys and Girls Club summer camp scholarships, and the Italian Festa in Santa Rosa, Ca.
